U.S. Exchange Alumni who have successfully registered with the U.S. State Department are eligible to submit an application for Global Connections.
+ 2. Conversation Tracks
The Social Entrepreneurship track will encourage collaboration among U.S. Exchange Alumni who would like to enact positive change within their respective countries and local communities.
The International Diplomacy track will encourage collaboration among U.S. Exchange Alumni who would like to solve challenging problems across cultural, political, and national boundaries.

The Global Exchange Network will select U.S. Exchange Alumni who are eager to collaborate and willing to engage in respectful dialogue across cultural, political, and national boundaries.
+ 4. Online Interviews
The Global Exchange Network will schedule online interviews to ensure applicants understand the ground rules to participate in Global Connections.
+ 5. Conversation Partners
Global Connections is an online conversation series. U.S. Exchange Alumni are randomly assigned new conversation partners six times per year.
+ 6. Conversation Guides
Social Entrepreneurship: The initial conversation is 60 minutes. In turn, conversation partners are welcome to schedule additional conversations to discuss specific policy issues.
