U.S. Exchange Alumni who have successfully registered with the U.S. State Department are eligible to submit an application for Global Connections.
+ 2. Conversation Tracks
Track 1: Select the Social Entrepreneurship track to connect with U.S. Exchange Alumni who would like to enact positive change within their respective countries and local communities.
Track 2: Select the International Diplomacy track to connect with U.S. Exchange Alumni who would like to solve challenging problems across cultural, political, and national boundaries.
+ 3. Selection Process
The Global Exchange Network will select U.S. Exchange Alumni who are eager to collaborate and willing to engage in respectful dialogue across cultural, political, and national boundaries.
+ 4. Online Interviews
The Global Exchange Network will schedule online interviews to ensure applicants understand the ground rules to participate in Global Connections.
+ 5. Conversation Partners
Once selected, U.S. Exchange Alumni will be assigned new conversation partners six times per year. Each online conversation will last 60 minutes.
+ 6. Conversation Guides
Social Entrepreneurship: The initial conversation will last 60 minutes. In turn, conversation partners are welcome to schedule additional conversations to discuss specific policy issues.
